What is an ATS?

Another Acronym….

ATS Stands for, Applicant Tracking System. And it does what it says on the tin. You might use sage or quick books to manage and track your accounting. An ATS will track your applicants.

How will is help?

Like your accounting software, it will. make things quicker, easier to read and easy to get the end figure (hire) correct. Managing all of your applicants for a job or jobs in one place of course makes things more efficient. Your recruiters and hiring managers save hours reading through emails to compare applicants/notes and make decisions and your candidates get a much better streamlined experience.

What will it cost?

Again, like accounting software it can cost anything for £20 per montht o £000’s per month. It all depends on your needs. What a SME need will greatly differ to what an Multinational needs.

Should I use one?

I’m a huge advocate of using tech to improve user experience and increase efficiency so my initial answer is, yes. That comes with a caveat though. You need the right one for the size of your organisation.
